Install a Licensed Version of
Archimedes Geo3D
Download the installation file from this site: http://raumgeometrie.de/drupal/en/node/25.
In order to run the program as a licensed version, you need the file "license.georeg" which you can get from your math-teacher; do NOT spread this file!
In the downloaded folder you can find an English Documentation.
Using Windows
Find the downloaded file "ArchimedesGeo3DSetup1_3_5.exe" and double-click on it to install the program.
After installing the program run it as an administrator. You run a program as an administrator by right-clicking on the program to start it.
After starting the program as administrator, choose Help->Register.
When asked "Do you already own a license", click yes.
After a long question in German, click yes.
Find the file "license.georeg" and open it. If you try to do this when not running the program as an administrator you will get the error message "The license-file could not be copied".
Restart the program as a regular user; it is now a licensed version!
Using Ubuntu
Download it and extract "ArchimedesLinux1.3.5.tar.gz". Inside the extracted folder there is a file called "Archimedes", click on it.
Follow the instructions under "Using Windows" to open the file "license.georeg".
